Sander Veenhof (NL, 1973) has a fascination for the phenomenon augmented reality because it has turned the world into a programmable universe. Showcasing what it means to have the freedom to alter or fix your environment according to your own needs, is what characterises a lot of Veenhof's projects. Fore seeing that our present day augmented reality will be our future default reality, his current projects are attempts to find out how to "Be Your Own Robot" while wearing AR wearables wherever we go. But for now, we're not going anywhere. We're stuck in endless Zoom calls. But fortunately, even this temporary reality can be fixed with AR.
